No, not by a long shot. In a matter of days, Simple Simon said do this and do that and in a short period of time he had most of the known world playing in his game.
The Roman Empire extended over much of the ancient world and although Caesar had many jumping at his commands, he cannot be compared with the amount of folks and countries Simon has jumping at his commands.
Alexander the Great truly was great, but he too does not measure up to the world-wide accomplishments of Simple Simon.
The Pharoahs, Mussolini, Lenin, Stalin, and even Adolf Hitler all must now take a back seat to simple Simon who the world realizes is not simple at all.
Even Jesus Christ who healed the sick, raised the dead, fed thousands of folks out of a small basket of bread and fish, can’t hold a candle to the accomplishments of Simon, not the simple but the masterful.
Simon pulled together his players across the globe, then began shouting out his commands of Simon sez do this, Simon sez do that and those that began falling out of the game were discarded unceremoniously; never to play his or any other game again.
When Simon finished playing his game of Simon sez, the world was left with a large field of very attentive players mesmerized by his commands and who continue to react to commands even though he, Simon himself is not calling them. They seem to now be set in stone. Simon “Said” cover your face, maintain 6foot intervals in public places remain indoors and watch the world go by.
Yes, Simon accomplished a feat of monumental proportions in a very short time period. He now has others to continue what he started, which gives him the opportunity to retire to his back room to contemplate new Simon Sez moves. All of his previous commands have been carried out with perfection which allows him the privilege to implement new ones.
We can all rest assured that Simon will be back shortly, and this time it stands to reason, he will not be Mr Nice Guy. It is believed Simon will say Simon sez take this needle and the masses that walk the streets with their faces covered and remaining 6feet from their neighbors will comply jubilantly and do as Simon sez.
It is also believed that Simon will say, Simon sez turn in your cash money…then watch, won’t the game players do as Simon sez and turn in all of their cash money in order to not be put out of his game?
In lieu of cash money, Simon has in mind to offer something else that is not filthy by reason of it being passed around from hand to hand and year to year,… perhaps a plastic card.
The next probable command of Simon will most likely be Simon sez: turn in your plastic cards and resort to the use of impregnating one’s hand or forehead with an invisible mark; this way, your cards will not be stolen or lost while one is jumping around Simon “sezzing.”
It is at this point in the game of Simon sez, all those that have put their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, will jump for joy because they know they cannot agree to Simon’s command of marking themselves. They also know that if they don’t follow this final command of Simon, the prospect of dinner is off the table and they will starve to death.
At this section of the game, that weak Jesus Christ who did not have the power to conquer or rule as Caesar, Alexander the Great or a long line of others, will be re-appearing on the scene to snatch away to Glory the non Simon sez players, thus keeping them from starving and all other harm Simon has for those that that could not continue on with his game.
For even if we have known the weak Jesus Christ after the flesh, know we Him so no longer. He is now Christ Jesus El Shaddai, The Almighty and He said All Power and Authority in Heaven and Earth is in my hands and He is not coming back to play games; Therefore, Simon, eat your heart out, GAME OVER! MARANATHA!
It is peculiar that in a matter of a few short weeks that do not amount to a half year, the direction of the world was changed. Many can now see that the status quo of yesterday will not be the same status quo of tomorrow. Many are looking for a “New Normal” which many feel will be habitable. It will not!
Many centuries ago, The Lord said: “THOU SHALL NOT” and from that very day, we said “WE SHALL.” It is not too late to repent of our we shall attitude, bend our knees and ask forgiveness from our Heavenly Father, for we certainly will not get it from Simon…Peace!
